Many L5R players need some extra cash to buy the cards from the newest sets -- or even just cash for life's bare essentials after spending so much money buying cards. DocAngst.com can help you out, assuming you have the cards we're looking for. We can purchase individual single cards as well as entire collections.

Condition: Cards being sold must be in Near Mint/Mint (NM/M) condition; minimal play wear and no bends or markings.

Cards Wanted:

• Card singles: Specific individual card singles will be purchased for a fixed price as listed.
  
• Card sets: Certain complete card sets may be purchased for a fixed price as well, especially direct-to-player sets.
  
• Collections: Card collections need to be assessed on an individual basis. Collections which concentrate on early editions of the game (Imperial through Time of the Void, some Jade/Pearl sets) may have good sale value; collections which concentrate on the recently passed tournament environments (Gold, Diamond, Lotus, Samurai) are not as likely to have very good sale value. Collections which concentrate on the current tournament environment (Celestial) are quite likely to have good sale value, depending on the cards included. See below for more notes on assessing collections.
  
• Sealed product: We may also buy sealed booster boxes of the most recent expansions, for players who have won them as prizes from tournaments and don't need any more product. Contact us for details.
  
• All lists are subject to change over time.

Assessing Collections: The easiest way for us to review your card collection and tender an offer on it is to assess the collection in person. This can be done either at a tournament/convention being attended by Jeff (we're centrally located, and attempt to attend several Koteis, large midwestern tournaments, and GenCon Indianapolis), or by mailing the collection to us directly at the address below.

It is best to send only rares, fixed rares and promotional cards, or complete card sets, as the shipping to send large quantities of commons and uncommons is expensive, and the time to assess collections that include those cards is prohibitive. If you aren't sure how to pick out the rares, our assessment process can do the work for you -- but it does make it easier for us and you to strip out as many extraneous C/U cards as possible.

After we receive a collection and have had the chance to examine and assess it, we will tender an offer. Assuming we can reach an acceptable price, payment will be made to the seller. If an agreement cannot be reached, your collection will be returned via U.S. Mail at no additional cost to you. If you send us a collection containing a large number of common and uncommon cards, and an acceptable price is not reached, return postage for the collection will be at your expense due to the weight of the cards.

Payment: Reimbursement for cards sold will be in U.S. Dollars (USD), and can be provided as store credit to a registered DocAngst.com account, or as cash paid via PayPal or bank draft (personal check).

How Can I Sell Cards?

• First, send us an email at sales@docangst.com. In the email, please list what it is you would like to sell to us (specific listed singles, a collection of rares, etc.).
  
• Next, pack up the cards and send them to us at:

  With your cards, please include a note including your name and address, your email address (and phone number if you want to be contacted that way), and your preferred payment method.
  
  Getting the cards to us safely is up to you -- at a minimum, we recommend some form of Delivery Confirmation; depending on your level of postal comfort, Insurance and Registered Mail are other options.
  
• Once they have arrived, DocAngst.com will assess the cards sent (as above), and once a price is negotiated, you will be paid according to your preferred method, using the contact information sent with your cards.
