Restocked: Tomorrow (World Championship deck) cards

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

Although they have been out of stock for a while, cards from the Tomorrow World Championship deck are back in stock. Great clan-specific tournament-worthy cards, including the Tao of Fu Leng, Ring of the Phoenix, and The Blasted Lands are available again.

Additionally, we have reduced prices on some of the Tomorrow cards which have been in stock for a while. A similar price reduction has been made to the Ultimate Clan Pack/Clan of the Month singles, although a full restock of out-of-stock cards for the UCP/CotM cards is still forthcoming.

Restock on key cards for Kotei season

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Kotei season for 2009 kicks off in approximately a month, and everyone is working feverishly on their strongest decks. We have restocked a number of popular tournament-level cards in anticipation of the season, including Doomed Intentions, Governor’s Court, Determination and many others. Supplies are limited, though we will attempt to keep cards in stock to meet demand.

If you do not see the Samurai-legal cards you need, feel free to contact us and let us know. While we are also happy to look for older cards for you, our primary efforts will be focused on the Samurai-legal Kotei tournaments between now and June.

Priority Mail now a better deal than before

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

The United States Postal Service recently introduced a new shipping product: the Small Flat Rate Box. Prior to now, small orders were sent using Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes, and could only accomodate about 100 cards without getting overstuffed. (Our cutoff from one pricing category to the next was 100 cards.) Now, with the Small Flat Rate Box, we can ship up to four hundred (400) bundled cards for the lowest Priority Mail rate.

All orders up to 400 cards will use the lowest rate (Envelope or Small Flat Rate Box). Orders from 401-2000 cards will use the middle rate (Regular Flat Rate Box). In the unlikely event someone orders more than 2000 cards, we will send using the Large Flat Rate Box, and shipping will be charged at the highest rate for Priority Mail.

To illustrate with a concrete example, approximately 36 expansion booster packs (11 cards each) can be shipped at the lowest Priority Mail rate. Before this, only 9 expansion booster packs could be shipped at that same rate.
