Emperor Edition on sale now!

Legend of the Five Rings’ much-anticipated eleventh base set, Emperor Edition, is now live on the site, in stock and ready to order. This is only the first wave of cards; as more product becomes available and is opened and sorted, it will be added to the site.

Only boosters have been released for sale so far via retail stores, so fixed cards (strongholds and champions) are not available for sale yet — though you can still print and play proxies from the Kolat Edition PDF until March 19th, 2012. The 2012 Kotei Season will be entirely Emperor-legal, so get your cards today.

Don’t forget to stock up on key cards from Before the Dawn and Second City, as these previously-released expansions are Emperor legal — and feature many can’t-miss cards for tournament-caliber decks.

On vacation 10/14-10/24

Due to an upcoming vacation, orders placed after 11:59pm on Thursday, 10/13/2011, will not be filled until after I return, with mailing to take place on or after Tuesday, 10/25/2011. All orders which are in before that time should be filled and shipped before I leave.

European customers: this is likely to be the last chance to order cards to arrive before the European Championships in Ireland at the end of October.

Second City now in stock and available to order

The newest L5R expansion, Second City, is now available for ordering. Full spoiler text for the set is available as well as a fully-stocked inventory of all such new cards. This expansion is the second to contain cards which will be legal for the Emperor Edition tournament environment near the end of 2011; in the meantime, they will also be legal for the last round of Celestial-era tournaments starting in October. On vacation for GenCon Indianapolis 8/3-8/8: Pick up your orders on site

For those who will be attending GenCon Indianapolis 2011:

Like all other tournaments we attend, you can place an order with us and pick it up directly from Jeff at GenCon Indianapolis. He will be available starting Thursday morning to deliver your cards to you near the L5R CCG tournament area (or, depending on your location, Wednesday night in the downtown hotel area).

Since this is a four-day convention, the site is effectively “on vacation” for any mailed orders between Wednesday 8/3 and Monday 8/8. The last day on which you can place and pay for an order to be mailed will be Tuesday 8/2, and you must place your order by 10:00 PM CST.

If you plan on picking up your order at GenCon, you MUST include that in the notes field when checking out. Orders to be picked up may be either prepaid with PayPal, in which case your shipping will be refunded to you, possibly on site, or paid on site with cash. You can place a GenCon pick-up order up until 8:00 AM CST on Wednesday 8/3. No common or uncommon cards will be transported to GenCon except those that have been pre-ordered. Rares and promotional cards may be available for perusal, but quantities are not guaranteed.

Jeff is the tournament organizer at the Winner’s Choice/GenCon Warmup tournament in Niles, IL on 7/30/2011. If you are planning to attend and need cards delivered, please order in advance, with a deadline for ordering of Friday, 7/29 at 11:59PM CST. Since Jeff will be running the tournament, there will not be time for browsing, trading, or purchasing of L5R cards prior to the start of the event, therefore pre-ordering is strongly recommended.

Forgotten Legacy now in stock and ready to order
